Cricket is a small, battery-powered programmable computer developed by the MIT Media Lab. A programming environment with a block-type interface has also been developed, making it easy for even elementary school students to program Cricket. In addition to light and sound sensors, resistance measuring sensors and touch sensors are available. In workshops and classes, we use a localized Japanese version of the programming environment.
